Gov. Pritzker Announces Three Appointments to Authorities and Boards

Building on a strong team of diverse experts in their fields, Governor JB Pritzker announced the following appointments in his administration:

KASKASKIA REGIONAL PORT DISTRICT BOARD

Mark Chatham will continue to serve as a Member of the Kaskaskia Regional Port District Board.* Chatham has worked as a Journeyman Electrician for the Steamfitters Local 439 Health and Welfare Fund, Carpenter for St. Clair County, and as a Journeyman Electrician for the East St. Louis Carpenters Local 169. He served as the President and Trustee for the Delegates for the Southern Illinois Building Trades. Chatham is an awardee of the Community Service Award from the Central Illinois Labor Trades.


TRI-COUNTY RIVER VALLEY DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY  


Ryan Miller will serve as a Member of the Tri-County River Valley Development Authority. * Miller is currently the Senior Vice President of PNC Bank in Peoria, Illinois. Previously, he was Vice President of JPMorgan Chase Bank in Peoria for 13 years and worked as a Loan Officer at Wells Fargo. Miller has served on the Board of Trustees for the Community Foundation of Central Illinois and as a member of the Children's Home Association and the Advisory Council of Emerging Philanthropists. Last year, he was the recipient of the Peoria Magazine 40 under 40 Award. Miller graduated from Eastern Illinois University with Bachelor of Science in Finance. 
 
Paul Flynn will serve as a Member of the Tri-County River Valley Development Authority. * Flynn is the Business Manager and Financial Secretary for International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local Union #34. He previously served as the Training Director and as an Instructor for the Peoria Area Joint Apprenticeship Committee, Local Union #34. He was a Journeyman Electrician for the Roy Keith Electric Company, where he worked for nine years. Flynn is the President of the Thomas Jefferson Education Foundation and has served as a board member for the Heart of Illinois United Way and the George Washington Carver Academy. He received an associate degree from Illinois Central College. 
 
*Appointments pending confirmation by the Illinois Senate.
